From May 6. 2019 to May 9, 2019, Swiss International Health Care organized with EVO (Swiss Quality Consulting), DKG (German Cancer Society) and OnkoZert the first on-site analysis of the certification of the colorectal cancer center of Shanghai General Hospital. Gynecologist and medical consultant Dr. Tanja Volm of EVO, who focused on the analysis of the certified colorectal cancer center, international certification officer of DKG Ellen Grißhammer, who focused on the certification system and training, and data specialist of OnkoZert Julia Ferenz, who focused on data and training, participated in the specific inspection work of this analysis. From the aspects of organization, interdisciplinarity, diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, documentations and examination results, the analysis team conducted a detailed evaluation of the colorectal cancer center at Shanghai General Hospital one week after the examination. At the same time, a training workshop on certification was held at Shanghai General Hospital on May 8, 2019. The presenter provided detailed explanations and guidance on various certification topics such as structure and key elements of certified cancer centers, catalog of requirements (CoR), examination procedures, evidence-based guidelines for colorectal cancer, and quality indicators.
